Job Title: Visual Inspection Engineer
Location: NY 100% Onsite
Duration: 12 Months with Potential Extension
Pay Rate: $50/Hr (DOE)
Employment Type: Contract on W2
We are seeking an experienced Visual Inspection Engineer to support automated vision inspection systems within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in camera tuning, automated inspection system optimization, troubleshooting, and qualification/validation .
Job Requirements:
7+ years of experience with automated vision inspection systems in pharmaceutical manufacturing
Strong hands-on experience with camera tuning and vision system optimization
Experience with Seidenader, CoBER/CorBER, SVI, or similar automated inspection platforms
Ability to optimize inspection parameters and improve defect detection accuracy
Experience troubleshooting vision systems and reducing false positives and reject rates
Strong understanding of automated inspection equipment used in GMP manufacturing
Experience supporting process validation, equipment qualification, and GMP operations
Experience developing and executing SLC/lifecycle and engineering documentation
Experience supporting new equipment startup, commissioning, and qualification preferred
Experience supporting newly installed manufacturing/process lines is highly desirable
Science or Engineering degree preferred
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and make an immediate technical impact in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
