Job Description Summary
Requirements
Must attend and pass all AATSA required classes
Work with the project manager with a variety of duties associated with traffic control.
Deliver necessary equipment to all job sites and locations using trucks and trailers.
Keep records of delivery of both time and equipment.
Will coordinate with the superintendents on jobs
Will be responsible for Maintenance of Traffic coordination and set-up
Will work in very close proximity to traffic (including Interstate)
Will be required to work from a moving vehicle regularly
Will place cones and barrels as required to maintain the flow of traffic
Will be responsible for maintaining all cones and barrels properly placed during production – checking for knocked over cones and barrels
Will maintain safety of projects by maintaining drop-offs, potholes, etc.
The job duties described herein are not exhaustive and may be supplemented
Ability to be flexible with last-minute schedule changes, location changes, time of shift changes. Overtime work required. Some night work may be required
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job
Ability to work independently and in team environments.
