Salary: $120,000 - 130,000 per year Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Java 17 or higher, including modern language features and JVM concepts.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data, and Spring Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and cloud-native application design.
• Expertise in Apache Kafka, event-driven architecture, and high-volume message processing.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and service-to-service integrations.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience delivering projects in AML, KYC, financial crime, compliance, or regulatory technology.
• Preferred: experience with event-driven and reactive systems, CQRS, event sourcing, streaming architectures, Kubernetes production environments, cloud security, enterprise integration patterns, or architecture documentation tools such as Confluence, Jira, Draw.io, or ArchiMate.
• Preferred: relevant certifications in Java, cloud technologies, Kafka, Kubernetes, or enterprise architecture.

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise applications using Java 17 or higher and Spring Boot.
• Define and implement scalable, resilient, and secure microservices architectures.
• Own application architecture, technical and component design, and integration patterns.
• Design and develop event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka.
• Lead technical discussions, code and design reviews, and architectural decisions.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate them with internal and external systems.
• Ensure applications meet enterprise standards for security, scalability, availability, performance, and maintainability.
• Mentor developers, promote engineering best practices, and support technical development.
• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, architects, DevOps teams, QA engineers, and compliance stakeholders.
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into technical solutions.
• Identify and resolve complex issues across application, integration, and production environments.
• Support CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and cloud-native deployment practices.
• Contribute to technology roadmaps, modernization initiatives, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to organizational security policies and applicable AML/KYC regulations.
