Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
5+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Supplier Management, or Supply Chain Management.
Experience in managing global suppliers and contract manufacturers.
Experience in qualifying and onboarding suppliers to support new product introduction and production
readiness activities.
Experience in leading RFQ/RFP activities, including supplier identification, quotation analysis, commercial
and technical evaluations, supplier shortlisting, and final supplier selection.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings, manufacturing processes, and the interpretation of technical specifications and design documentation.
Knowledge of First Article Inspection (FAI), supplier quality requirements, and manufacturing validation processes.
Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) programs and cross-functional product launch activities.
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills across Engineering, Quality, Operations, Manufacturing and Program management teams.
Knowledge of ERP and PLM systems (Oracle, Arena, Teamcenter, or equivalent) for item master management, change control, and supplier collaboration.
Experience with PCAs, machined parts, sheet metal, electronics, medical devices or similar manufacturing Commodities
Experience with inventory planning, warehouse setup, market launch readiness, and Kanban
Implementation.
