What We Are Looking For

At CORE: New York, we seek thoughtful, dynamic individuals who are passionate about creating meaningful experiences for our Members and guests. We are currently seeking an accomplished Barback to join our world, and we invite you to submit your resume for consideration. • Previous bar or restaurant experience preferred
• Strong work ethic, urgency, and attention to detail
• Individuals who lead with kindness, thoughtfulness, and respect, and who value a collective performance

Responsibilities

• Maintain bar stock levels, including liquor, wine, beer, garnishes, glassware, and ice throughout service
• Prepare and restock garnishes, juices, and other bar ingredients to ensure readiness
• Support bartenders by retrieving items quickly and efficiently during service
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar, including bar top, service areas, and storage spaces
• Assist with glassware polishing, washing, and restocking
• Remove trash, recycling, and empty bottles as needed to maintain a clean workspace
• Anticipate and fulfill a wide range of bartender and team needs to maintain flow during service
• Perform all routine and assigned opening, closing, and side work, ensuring the bar is fully set up and properly broken down
• Provide a professional, polished, and team-oriented presence throughout service
• Uphold the team's high standards of service, cleanliness, and appearance
• Champion excellence through service and world-class hospitality
• Champion the values, mission, and standards of CORE: New York
